SECENTIS PhD Symposium

The SECENTIS PhD Symposium is a one-day event that will take place on July 21st, in conjunction with the 30th Annual IFIP WG 11.3 Conference on Data and Applications Security and Privacy.


The SECENTIS Project, supporting the PhD Symposium, is an Industrial Doctorate financed by the European Union.  The objective of this symposium is to help students to achieve an innovation-oriented attitude.  The students will present their research work, team up with other participants in order to develop innovative ideas and pitch them.

The PhD Symposium will provide students with an opportunity to:
- Obtain insights about the development of innovative ideas starting from research work;
- Discuss opportunities about the research and the job market;
- Networking among researchers.

The symposium will take place at the same location of the DBSec conference: Center for Information and Communication Technology of Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Trento, Italy. Click here for futher details.

BEST Innovation Idea AWARD
A "Best Innovative Idea Award" has been conferred to the students proposing the best innovative solutions based on research work.
